KSmart auto CarPlay box audio working principle:

The module supports TWO audio channels,

1, Car Aux audio

2, Car OEM Bluetooth audio.

The advantages of the two channels

1, Car AUX-- supports phone calling/navigation/music/mirroring/USB music/USB video

2, Car OEM Bluetooth--supports phone calling/navigation/music.

Normally, it has much more better audio quality than AUX channels.

How to set audio channel choices:

option “ disable phone link audio “ ticked-- it means use Bluetooth as default sound. at the time Aux audio stop working.

option “ disable phone link audio “ unticked--it means use aux as default sound audio .

Once change this option, please make sure to click apply at same menu and click reboot in factory mode menu. After reboot new audio start works 

Tips for Bluetooth audio :

1) Connect mobile phone to car Bluetooth

2) Select Bluetooth option in car media menu

Note: Connect your phone Bluetooth with BOTH Carplay Module Bluetooth and Car Bluetooth at same time.

If sound comes from phone speaker when using Bluetooth channel, please check from your phone audio playing source interface, change it to Car Bluetooth Source

Tips for AUX audio

1)Make sure aux option be activated and can be selected.  

2)Make sure Disconnect mobile phone with car Bluetooth.  If mobile phone connected to the car Bluetooth, but aux option are selected in car media menu, it will cause no sound from calling, siri and navigation.

3) the AUX should be Audio AUX, not Video AUX

Note

1: the Carplay module released after April 2024 with Bluetooth default audio.

2: Bluetooth audio works only for the car model which support Bluetooth music function. Car with ONLY Bluetooth calling will not support.

3: if the module do not have " phone link setting" option in factory mode, please contact us for latest software.
